RENEE BLAINE’S BOOKS

FOCUS
Kev Henley, ed.

Renee Blaine is the pen and performance name of a twenty-eight year old writer and fetish model from Florida. Her work is characterized by a delicate combination of imagery, intelligence and down-to-earth characters, creating what some fans have poetically called “smut for the mind, not the body.” Her editor despairs of ever breaking her of her addiction to purple prose, but has grudgingly admitted that it does create a vivid mental window for the reader.

Renee got her start in fiction as a daydreaming third-grader, whose unwary teacher assigned her class a creative writing project. The end result, a charmingly horrid story of mermaids who were training their seahorses for the big Pacific Derby, was accompanied by an insatiable addiction to story-telling and Renee’s fate was set. Throughout middle school and high school she continued to write, refining her plot lines and developing her specialty- short, haunting stories of love, with dark undertones. After graduation she continued writing, and finally worked up the courage to thrust her work out into the public eye.

Her first commercial offering, A Certain Way, premiered with Phaze Books in April 2007 to excellent reviews and lukewarm sales. With a hopeful heart and trembling hands, she has chosen to offer selected pieces and anthologies of both erotic and romantic fiction through eXcessica.com. She loves to hear from her readers, and welcomes reviews of her work by the public.

She can be reached here.

And you can check out her temporary website for more info.
